Nowadays, cancer is considered one of the most dangerous diseases in the world, as it affects about one and a half million people every year in the USA only, and becomes fatal for about 600.000 patients annually. Whereas there are different kinds of cancer, most of them are very dangerous, if left without treatment. This is the major reason why there are so many drugs intended to stop the reproduction and development of cancer cells. However, it is also used to remove the cancer cells already existing in the organism.
Prostate cancer usually affects older people. However, in the last several years, younger people started to suffer from cancer as well. Eulexin is a popular medicine that is used in combination with the other drugs and treatments for prostate cancer. Flutamide, the main active substance of this drug, belongs to the group of medications, called anti-androgens, which is also called anti-testosterones. Sometimes, testosterone is the main hormone, which makes prostate cancer to grow and spread all over the body. Eulexin acts by preventing these effects of the hormone, thereby stopping the development of cancer cells.
Before starting the treatment with Eulexin, you should consult the doctor, who, if necessary, will prescribe the drug together with the right treatment plan. Inform your doctor if you suffer from any other diseases and any other drugs you’re currently taking.
During the therapy, you may require the continuous medical check-ups and dosage alternations to find out whether Eulexin is suitable for you.
How should you take the drug?
It is important to take Eulexin only according to the doctor’s prescriptions. Thus, you must not change you dosage. Take the drug on a regular basis to achieve the maximum effect. Don’t stop the treatment on your own, as it will contribute to the spreading of cancer cells in the prostate area, which is a quite serious complication.
