Southeast Regional President – Kimberly Jackson

• Discussed SN day at the legislature.  Each region is being asked to get 5 spokespersons (parent, child, agency, etc) to attend the 02/12/09 day.
• An email/letter may be an alternative to attendance at the legislative day
• A power point presentation is being prepared about unification of the state and national school nurse associations.  Regional presidents are being asked to present this power point at a regional meeting to get feedback from regional members about unification.

Nominations – Kim Kennedy

• Received 12 nominations for the secretary position.
• SRSNANC needs legislative and marketing chairpersons

Standards and Practice – Retha Ginn

• Several things are on the table, from the standards and practice committee, to be approved at the state level:
• Procedure to write job descriptions
• Evaluation form for job descriptions
• Committee is now working on revamping the job description to match the current evaluation tool.
