Check AHEC listings for The School Nurse Certification Review course.  This course is sponsored by the Eastern AHEC with consultative input by the Division of Public Health School Health Unit.

The Division of Public Health is investigating alternative ways to provide school nurse continuing education and training in the face of budget constraints both at the state and local levels. Currently, travel by the state school nurse consultants is limited to what is essential to provide appropriate assistance and monitoring.

The School Health Unit awaits the Governor’s budget and legislative priorities before making further commitments on continuing education or program modifications.
